Kenya Power Alerts: 8 Counties Face Scheduled Outages on Wednesday, April 2
- Kenya Power has released an announcement stating that multiple regions will experience power outages on Wednesday, April 2.

Nairobi - The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has issued an announcement to its clients regarding the scheduled power outage.
Why is KPLC conducting planned maintenance?
KPLC announced in a notification that the scheduled power outages would impact at least eight counties on Wednesday, April 2nd.
As per Rule 27 of the Electric Power Regulations, KPLC has announced on their website that there will be interruptions in electrical service. These disruptions are required at times to enable maintenance and upgrades to the power lines within the grid system; to accommodate new customer connections; or to substitute power lines during activities like road construction.
1. Nairobi County
Location: Githurai 45, Mwiki (from 9 am to 5 pm)
Customers from Githurai 45, including those served by Co-operative Bank, Naivas, Kingdom Sacco, Mount Kenya area, Kimbo, Mwana Mukia, Clanne Academy, Kassmatt, Fountain Junior, Kwa DO Mukinye location, Army Barracks, Sukari B site, Mwiki School vicinity, and Kimbo Police station.
