Jabalpur Royal Unveils Fresh Identity and Powerhouse Squad for MPL T20

Indore (Madhya Pradesh), [India], April 28 (ANI): The defending champions of the Madhya Pradesh League T20 , previously known as the Jabalpur Lions, will now compete under the new name of Jabalpur Royal Lions In the 2025 version of the event.

At the Players Draft Held in Indore on April 27, the champions strengthened their roster by recruiting several prominent players, featuring the iconic athlete. Saransh Jain According to an announcement, who served as the captain of the Jabalpur team in the prior season, which concluded as the champions of the preceding term?

During the draft, the reigning champions made several notable acquisitions, including Rahul Batham , Abhishek Bhandari , and Siddarth Pattidar, who had a significant influence during the last domestic season through his consistently strong play.

"The title and leadership might have shifted, but the objective stays unchanged — to rise as the Champions of the Madhya Pradesh League," the statement read.

Though Jabalpur Royal Lions did not keep any players from season 1; during the Players'Draft, the team acquired new members Saransh Jain once again and successfully put together a complete team of 16 players, which includes the following:

In addition to the 16 players drafted for the team, trials will be conducted independently in Jabalpur to choose two more players and add them to the roster. Jabalpur Royal Lions This initiative will bolster Econexis' attempts to recognize and support regional artists.
